QuestionMy fiance has been suffering from this problem for some time, and we have yet to find a solution. Around the baby toe on one of his feet, he will get little bumps that are very itchy. We've tried athlete's foot medicine and cortisone cream, but nothing seems to help. Do you have any suggestions?
Thank you.
AnswerHi Shawna
Sure, the problem is that athletes foot fungus is growing all over his feet.
They are living in the perfect home; warm, hot, wet, dark.
Go to Cabela's on the internet. They sell socks that WICK away water from your feet. Also, buy their shoe dryer. If you can, never wear the same shoes two days in a row. This will give time for the shoe dryer to always give you a dry pair of shoes. Just for safety, do not leave the shoe dryer on all day. I keep mine on only at night. I bought two pairs of socks so I always have one pair in the washer, one pair to wear. I bought the heavy duty grey boot socks.
This combination will keep the moisture around your feet LOW, something fungus do not want! Lamisil cream around the itching areas will also help get rid of the fungus also.
Cotton socks and foot powder only HOLD more water in your shoes and feet. The problem only get's worse as time goes by.
Thanks for the question. If you have any more questions, please write to me again.
Have a great day!
