QuestionI was just wondering if it is possiable to find confort in a pair of steel toed shoes?
AnswerHello Lorien
For me, it was wearing wolvering work boots. I could not get comfortable in them. The pain was awful.
I switched to Redwing safety tennis-style shoes, called Worx shoes, a year ago. WHAT a difference! No more pain!! I got the blue and grey ones. And their steel toe never bothers me.
Inside of the shoes, I put Dr. Scholls heavy-duty shoe inserts.
I also bought polypropylene socks from Cabela's. On the internet. They wick water away from the feet. Cotton holds water around your feet.
And I bought a boot dryer from Calbela's so every day I would be putting on dry shoes.
I work for the public utilities department so I go home every night with soaked shoes and socks.
The dryer dries my shoes like new by the next day. I take the inserts out and air dry them. The inserts last about 3 months, cost about $19, but what a difference in my feet.
Forget other brands. Dr. Sholls works the best. I got mine at Walmart, by the pharmacy.
Having sore feet is the worse thing. Worse than a bad back.
And I can help with THAT too!
