there is this bump on the side of my foot it kind of looks as if it is brownish. it is located on the side of my heel and it causes me pain i am giving it air and i do not know what to do with it and, if i even  rub on the top of it it causes me pain and i do hope you answer this e-mail and i am going to talk to my doctor his name is Dr. Couch and if you do answer this e-mail please e-mail it to my e-mail address @ [email protected] please Shelby Hooper

Hi Shelby,

This could be a bruise or a skin problem.  There could also be some type of mass in the foot.  Unfortunately, it would be almost impossible to give you a diagnosis without seeing the actual problem.

I would see Dr. Couch.
