Question
I guess if I am going to be honest this has been progresivly worse int he last year or so.
My feet just scream and ache after I have only been on them for a short while. My legs..let knee especially are sore all the time and getting up and down is really a chore.. My legs just ache all the time and although once I am up and and if I keep going I can manage but once I sit down.. its terrabl e to get up and not look as though I am 90 years old ..Do you have any ideas..
I work on my and it is a real problem.. This has gotten much worse since I lefgt my job where I sat for 5 years...and gained 30 lbs.. to boot. Working on that
I am not sure what sort of DR to call for a check up.. Any odeas about my issues..

Hi Jeanene,

Pain in the feet can be from an enlarged nerve or inflamed tissue in the foot.  However, if you have stiffness and leg pain this could be due to arthritis or some type of autoimmune problem or a problem with your circulation.
I would see a Podiatrist for an exam of your feet and then get a referral to a Rheumatologist and possibly a vasuclar specialist.  A podiatrist can run some basic tests to start the process and try and identify the cause.  These problems could also be unrelated.  So that's the way I would start the process.
