I broke it in February 2006 and it has been painful ever since. i have been going to a podiatrist for about 6 months who thought it was just a nerve so i have tried everything from worths to different medicine cortisone shots. He then sent me to a pain spec. who said i have RSD who gave me a LUMBAR BLOCK. I then went to a different podiatrists to get a second opinion. he also told me i have RSD.can you please help ?
AnswerHi Kim,
If you truly have RSD of the foot, also known as CRPS, there are several options.
In my experience one of the best options is cryosurgery. See my site www.tampacryosurgery.com. This is a pain management technique that will stop nerve pain in the foot.
Physical therapy is also helpful in these cases.
Good Luck.
