QuestionAt my job I have to stand all day, and I have severe heel pain, it feels like my heel bone is touching the floor and it has just recently started shooting pain up the back of my legs to my knees. I have tried insoles and padding but nothing works and i was wondering what could be done about it

It sounds like you may have a condition known as plantar fasciitis and this causes heel pain. When your heel hurts you will adjust the way you walk and this may cause leg pain along the Achilles tendon at the back of the leg. Since you are still having pain, I would see a podiatrist for evaluation and treatment. There are many conservative treatments for all types of heel pain. If those fail you may try cryosurgery.
