QuestionI have developed several cysts on the top of my right foot. I also have on on my ankle that is about the size of a medium sized marble but oblong in shape. Does this sound like a ganglion cyst? Is it common to develop 4-5 of these at one time? Any additional concerns if someone previously had bone cancer but greater than 12 years ago?
AnswerHi Melissa,
The lesions on you foot and ankle could be ganlion cysts. However, I would see a podiatrist and have an examand x-ray. I would consider an MRI and possibly a biopsy if these are suspicious or rapidly growing. These are likely not a problem but I would still be cautious.
