Dr. Katz,
After an MRI on my left foot, my podiatrist, Dr. Joseph Agostinelli, told me I needed surgery because I have plantar fibromatosis.
Do you use cryosurgery for this condition?  If you do, I live in northwest Florida (Ft Walton Beach area) and would like to explore this option as a less invasive option.

Hi Maureen,

We would consider cryosurgery in some cases for fibroma.  I would need to see very clear pictures of the bottoms of both feet.  Also, this procedure is typically not covered for fibroma.  You would need to come in for an appointment so that I can determine if you are a candidate.
