QuestionI have had Morton's Neuroma in my left foot for 20 years. Traditional treatment has been cortisone injections. In the last 1 1/2 years I have had 3 injections. Today I was treated again and he recomended the alcohol injections. I would love to find a podiatrist in my area that does the cryosurgical procedure. I live in Destin, FL. Can you help me???
Thank you!
AnswerHi,
I would recommend cryosurgery before alcohol injections. Alcohol may cause changes to the nerve that make cryosurgery less successful and typically will require more than one treatment. Sorry I do not know of anyone in your area for cryosurgery.
