Question
The patient's details are as follows;

Name; Abdul Mohsen Al-Hajji

Gender : male

Age: 57

He is a diabetic patient and currently on medication  type 1 ( Insulin )

Charcot foot:  Currently the patients  symptoms started  since 8 months  and swollen, red color, This is the right foot and the dr. said it needs a surgery to recorrect the foot.  But for the left foot,  one whole toe is removed  in 2001 and the bone is still existing in the removed toe  which is causing problems for him and the doctors  here are advising for another surgery.

Hi Maareb,

Charcot foot is a very complex condition that can only be discussed after seeing the patient and the condition.  It would be impossible for me to comment on this condition.   Here in the US we often cast a Charcot foot until it calms and only consider surgery if there is severe disabling deformity.
