Now again the pain started. When stretch excersise like leaning forward towards the wall is done i have severe pain.I am using volatron gel and took pain killer tablet (CATAFLAM) for 15 days. But there is no improvement.Do i need to go for any other tablet or surgery will do good.In the internet it is mentioned that surgery will give further problem. How to get releived from this pain. Please advise.

Thank You...

Answer
This Chicago and Elmhurst podiatrist says....

No surgery yet for plantar fasciitis. Wait for 6 months and then you are welcome to see us.

Lean a little less until it is uncomfortable-but not painful.

We do a special small incision surgery where we cut some-not all of the ligament and tissues.
We have a success rate of about 95%. We are located less than 45 minutes from the airport

For now continue to stretch-especially your calves and arches. If you are heavy-try to lose some weight.

If the Cataflam does not bother your stomach continue to take up to 4-6 weeks with permission of your doctor for your heel pain.

Look at our website store at AnkleNFoot.com for examples of night splints.Try a night splint and also physical therapy consisting of ultrasound and wrapping your painful foot.

If none of this works, the 3 ESW treatments may have ruptured the ligament or fractured the bone chip, OR the pain in the heel is arthritic-like gout and then you may need different treatment

Hope this helps!
Good Luck My Friend!
