QuestionDr. Katz,
I have a 20-month toddler with a hard bump/lump under her right outer ankle bone. It is slightly larger than the ankle bump and seems very hard. It doesn't seem to hurt her when I touch it, but her walking gait is altered when she has shoes on, otherwise, she appears to be walking just fine.
Any ideas??
Thank you,
KK
AnswerHi Kathy,
I would see a pediatric podiatrist or orthopedist and get an xray. This may all be normal but if not you would want to know.
