Question
QUESTION: I was a size 7.5 US from 13 to 33, now I'm a size 10.5 US. What kind of
a joke is mother nature playing on me? Can this continue? Why is this
happening? Three sizes!

ANSWER: A few things can be happening.  First of all, feet do not grow, but DO spread out with time, requiring a larger shoe size.  Also, shoe sizes change and are not consistent.  Therefore you can see a variability in shoe sizes from brand to brand.  Furthermore, you will wear a .5 size to a full size larger in athletic shoes.

QUESTION: I still have the narrow feet that I've always had, but the shoes that I've
had are no longer long enough. Truly, my shoes from age 33 do not
fit anymore. This isn't a brand to brand size difference as I've kept my
old shoes because it has been such a joke that I show friends. My feet
aren't getting wider, they are getting longer. I've since seen a
podiatrist who said that my high arch may be flattening out causing
my problem with my feet getting longer.

Answer
That being the case, I'd tend to agree with your podiatrist.  Like I said, feet do indeed spread out over time.  If you have a high arch, it can potentially spread that much more.
