QuestionMY DPM HAS GONE FROM SAYING I HAVE A NEUROMA TO SAYING I HAVE CAPSULITIS TO SAYING I HAVE METATARSALGIA! HE THEN SAID WHAT WOULD HAPPEN TO MY TOE(THAT MY 2ND TOE WOULD MIGRATE TOWARDS THE BIG TOE) AND DIDN'T EVEN OFF ER A SOLUTION. ALL HE SAID WAS"WEAR A WALKING BOOT", I DID THIS AND THE PAIN GOT SO EXCRUCIATING THAT HE PUT ME IN A CAST. NOW THE OTHER FOOT HAS BECOME NUMB AND I ASKED MY DPM ABOUT MY OTHER PROBLEM AND HE SAID,"THERE IS NOTHING THAT CAN BE DONE! I AM RATHER FRUSTRATED!
AnswerI would be frustrated too. It seems like you're getting the run-around. Unfortunately, this seems to involved to handle in this forum. I suggest you request your records and pursue a second opinion.
All the best,
