QuestionHi :) I am 21 years old and I have had (what I think are) chilblains on my little toe and the one next to it on my left foot for years. I had a look on Google Images and as far as I can see they're only mild. Just lately, over the last few weeks they have been causing a bit of grief. They have blistered slightly and when my feet get cold they become really painfull and sometimes eventualy go numb. But every night when I get into bed they get really hot and itchy. It's keeping me awake now. What would you advise to do? Is there any kind of self help or home remedies that I could use? Thanks in advance :) xxx
AnswerHi Laura,
I would see a podiatrist. Chilblains will usually occur in all of the toes and you don't necessarily see blisters. With blistering you could have a fungal infection or other infection. A doctor will need to see it for proper diagnosis.
