AnswerThese Chicago Podiatrists, Elmhurst Podiatrists & South Loop Orthopedic Podiatrists say.......
Dear Kim,
It sounds like plantar fasciitis. Try some stretching exercises of the arches and calves before & after bedtime daily for @ 3 weeks. Try wearing shoes with a little bit of a heel. Avoid flats. If overweight-good time to start a New Year's resolution.
Checkout our website AnkleNFoot.com for additional info for plantar fasciitis & regarding additional causes of heel pain. You can also Google exercises for plantar fasciitis. If the pain progresses seek a consult from a Board Certified Podiatrist.
Hope This Helps
