Foot Pains

Question
A couple days ago I stood up on my toes a little leaning on the outter right of my right foot to reach for something and it felt very painful as if it were broken and I couldn't really stay up on it without fearing serious risk. Today it feels fine. Last month or so I mentioned having similar foot pains to my regular doctor and he did a brief exam of my feet and felt it was just a matter of not stretching in the morning, which I guess most people don't do. Does the sense of what it feels like to be stretched out versus not change with age? I am 32. When I was a teenager I knew how it felt to lack limberness versus being flexible, but it didn't hurt to put weight on feet. It's infrequent, but distracting when I feel these pains.

Answer
Dear James,

This Orthopedic Chicago Podiatrist located in West Loop 60661,Roscoe Village 60618, Elmhurst 60126 & Bartlett 60103 says...
Middle age in medicine is 25 & that's when arthritis may start. At 32, you may have some minor arthritis & have held your foot in a position that irritated that arthritic foot joint(s). Continue to exercise & do stretches a few times a week & you should feel these discomforts less.
Good Luck!
