QuestionWhen I wake in the morning, my earlobe hurts, and sometimes I also have pain in the mastoid region and other areas of my head. I've seen a GP and there's nothing wrong with my ear. The pain goes away at some time during the day and is always gone before evening. Could this problem be referred pain as a result of a problem with my neck, shoulder or back?
Thanks!
AnswerI can not tell you that this is most definitely a problem relating to the spine/nerves in your neck. But,I can tell you that myself and others like me see problems such as the one you describe improve with great frequency.
Chiropractic is not a treatment for a problems such as yours; however if you have dysfunction in the relationship between the spine and spinal nerves in your neck, it only makes sense to have that corrected to avoid future problems. Get checked by a properly trained chiropractor. If they find a problem in your neck area, it is likely you could see some very positive changes.
