Question
I have been dx'd w/DDDD, narrowing of the spine and now my neck is perfectly straight which in my teens I was told curved the opposite direction than normal.  I am in constant pain. No meds help whatsoever, no therapy either.  I am trying to apply for disabilty and feel of course I will be denied becuase most md's tell me its just muscle spasms.  I know my body and feel something more serious is going on yet the md's will not run any test other than xrays d/t having no ins.  My arms, wrist, hands, knees, heels, toes, mid back, right side of my neck & head go numb off & on.  How serious is this?  I have not been able to work in over 2 months and feel no one is taking me serious enough to run more test.  I have also suffered from migraines for 18 years and they have gotten worse with my back pain.  I have lived with my back pain for 17 yrs when I fell on my lower back but over the last yr it has gotten even more severe.  What do you think?

First of all I apologize for responding so late as we have recently had twins and I am helping at home as well as running the practice, so I am sorry.
Here is the problem: The doctors that you have gone to, do not know how to diagnose your case and they do not know what to do for you, so they simply deny that you have a problem that they cant help you with.  This does not mean that you do not have a problem, it just means that they cant help you.  What most people do not realize is that there is an entire profession that is outside of the Medical Profession that helps sick people to get well every single day with out the use of harmful drugs or surgery, it is known as The Chiropractic profession.
