Question

surgery
I had slap  surgery in 9/2006 for a torn labrum in my right shoulder and was ok until 12/2007. Then while lifting a refrigerator I felt some pain, after a couple of weeks the pain increased. I eventually had an mri and my doctor said I had a pustule which upon surgery turned out to be a ruptured suture. He remove the suture and said I should be ok.  I wasn't and have been in pain ever since. He first was upset with me for complaining about "a few stitches" and now says there is nothing he can do, he hasn't done another mri since my second operation. I recently got out the video and watched it, aren't those strings supposed to be gone, is there hope for my shoulder? i have images of other thread looking things but I could only upload I image at a time.

Answer
Dear James,

Thank you for your question.

Surgical procedures and/or complications are not matters within my area of expertise, therefore, I will not be able to provide you with expert information on this subject.

It may help you to direct your questions toward someone with such expertise, such as a surgeon.

Sincerely,
James W. Healey, DC
