hi,
a herniated disc at levels c 3 and 4.tingling radiating down right arm into hand.generaly which fingers in the right hand would be effected with tingling with a c3 and 4 disc herniation ??

Hi Greg, To answer your question, C3/4 does not usually effect the upper digits, only the neck and shoulder. In rare occasions, the brachial plexus, a bundle of nerves that cross and intermingle, can anatomically find there way down into the fingers. If you are experiencing finger involvement, a more thorough neurological exam should be forthcoming. If it is just 3/4, get a D.C. to use towel traction to decompress the disc, this is far less invasive than surgery and much more effective.
