Question
My husband suffered a T6 complete spinal cord injury on 6-24-00. He`s been home from rehab almost 2 wks now and is doing well but when he sits up & puts his feet down the tops of his feet turn very red/not swollen or hot to touch/just red/doctor suggested keeping feet elevated for a few days..this has helped but as soon as he puts feet in down position redness comes back..any suggestions as to what might be happening?

The only thing I think it could be is the blood going to his feet when they are down.  I can't think of anything else it could be. I don't think it could be anything bad. I'd keep an eye on it though.
