Question
I have an older sister who was born with spinabifida, she has always been in a wheelcahir. I was fine however, i had no symptons at all. Im worried because im expecting my 1st child and want to know if this condition is hereditory, and if it skips generations etc.  Please can u give me any information about this or refer me to someone that knows, thankyou very much for your help

The chances of your child having Spina Bifida are no greater than anybody elses. There have been no proven cases that it is hereditary.
