Question
My son has been quadriplegic for going on 10 yrs, it was a car accident in the military, he has had pressure sores for along time but they are not getting any better. His sisters and I change his dressings often, and just when we think we are on top of them, another pops up from the dressing or the tape. Any suggestions as to creams or relief, we would love to stop chasing them from one spot to the other. Thanks

Answer
The best product that I have found is called Ambrotose.  It is made by a company called Mannatech.  It comes in a powdered form and you can add water to it to make a paste that can be applied directly to the pressure sore.  Since it is a nutritional supplement, it should also be taken by mouth, mixed with juice.  This method feeds the wound the proper nutrients from inside and outside the wound.

I have had great results personally and with fellow quadriplegics who were at a plateau in their healing.  With the Ambrotose application, the regrowth takes off again.  I have tried to get a study done through the VA in the past because I've seen such remarkable results in patients.

If you'd like to know more about this, please email me through my website - www.jerryryanphd.com and I can send you the protocol for using the Ambrotose for pressure sores.

Thank you for your question, Donna. I hope that my answer was helpful.
