hi how r u ? my back has a small central posterior disc protrusion and annulus tear of L5/S1. my doctors said they would give me a injection but i was wondering if i would be able to good things i used to before. would i go back to normal (completely)

Dear Satwant,  I'm guessing the injection your referring to is for pain. If that is the case then I would say your back will not go back to normal because the injection would only provide you temporary pain relief, it will not fix your back problem. You may want to see a neurologist for your back. Surgery may be something you could look into. I hope this helps, back problems are never something you want to have to deal with.
