sir,
   in 2001,i was met with a motor bike accident and i was
injured SPINAL CHORD C3 ,FIRST i was completely
paralised.Now i can walk on walker,but there is tighteness
in muscles,till now i didnt took any treatment,im not in a
condition to efford more money.Pls tell me that is there any
complete recovery for c3patients.i dnt have control on urine
and motion,can i get control in future.i doubt that my legs
looks like blending.can i walk freely in future r not,pls
tell me.im terribly depressed whch i cant even tell.tell ur
advice.

Dear Sekhar, I'm sorry your having to deal with this, injuries like these are not easy to deal with. I recommend you see a neurologist if you can figure out how to do that financially. Another option is to get a prescription for some type of muscle relaxer for your muscle tightness. I do believe science is getting closer to finding out how to repair spinal cord injuries, hopefully that will come sooner than later.  Take care and I'll keep good thoughts for your recovery, sincerely, Ken
