i started seeing a new doctor and really liked him for my fibro pain. He told me he would take over my methadone prescriptions when i quit seeing my other doc. well i quit and guess what. The new doc decided he wanted me to write a letter to the medicine board to get there approval for him to prescribe this. I called them and they said they dont do that. I wrote them anywase and made the request. However im scared they arnt going to do this and im gonna have to go thru withdrals. id rather die. I been thru oxycotin withdrals and they were nasty. my new doctor will give permission to an internet doc to prescibe methadone but i dont know any nor do i know any other doctors to turn to for help. please help me. My goodness i cant beleave how stupid i am. To be in this position again. I have cronic pain bad. Im taking methadone couse it works and its cheap and i have to pay cash for my meds. Can you please help me find someone to help me. There are no pain clinics near here so thats out. And i have medicare and most docs here dont take that. I dont want to buy it off the street but i dont want to withdrals either. I take 50 mg a day. but could use more for my pain ifff posible.   Thanks so much hope ya can help me.

Hi Dana,

I'm sorry but I don't think I can help you. Methadone is such a problem drug that very few physicians can write Rx's for it, and thenh they need to be approved and use the triplicate Rx forms.

I had to find some before and what I did was phone pharamcies from the Yellow Pages until I found one that carried Meth then I got the doctor's name from them, maybe this will work for you.
