AnswerHi Deborah,
I found your question in our question pool and thought I might be able to help you.
First off, what kind of doctor are you seeing now? Perhaps a neurologist might be able to help.
A good pain management doctor will mostly do the things a neurologist might do but be VERY careful. A lot of pain management doctors are anesthesiologists and wont do a whole lot except treat the symptom (pain). Try to get into a pain clinic that has several different types of doctors that will work together to try and find the source of your pain and possibly treat it.
I wish you the best
Tracy
