Hello,

I have just been diagnosed with Spinal Stenosis, and I'm only 22. I am just slightly overweight...Is it ok for me to become pregnant or could I be endangering my health/life by doing so?

Hi Jennifer and thanks for writing,

You would have to consult with a physician familiar with your medical history, but yes you can safely get pregnant with Spinal Stenosis. Of course it depends on your degree of stenosis and any other co-existing health concerns you may have which is why you抣l want to talk with your family doctor before you consider pregnancy to make sure you re aware of any risks and see what you can do to minimize them.
