I cant live like this all these doctors and specialist all they say is its in your head and your going to have to live..I contemplate suicide on a weekly basis due to the pain and the thought that I may have to live this...Everyone is saying go to chronic pain which I will be starting..but no one will tell me why so much pain...I look at my xrays and my back looks like spaghetti. but nothing on mri's or bone scans or anything except degeneration, arthritis and a fractured leg that healed...I cant deal with this I need to find the problems because I was perfectly fit before sports,college,career...now I cant even read a pain management book with out getting sick from pain...they stopped my physio because i was passing out from pain..but then they say is normal for MVAs..but nothing wrong with its in your head like im faking it or I want to be like this..please please help on the edge i cant deal with this anymore I cant fight anymore its almost been two years..

Answer
Hi Kyle and thanks or writing,

I have had undiagnosed chronic pain for over a decade and can certainly empathise with how depressing it can get at times. I advise you to be the squeaky wheel and demand to have your pain adequately addressed ?request a referral to a pain specialist or pain clinic asap and review your pan treatment options with a knowledgeable physician so you can get the proper meds at the proper doses to get your pain down to a manageable level ?passing out from pain is NOT acceptable. You need to ask 搘hat are my treatment options and which one will I start today?!

I have got my pain meds figured out now, but I am never pain-free, I simply get the pain down to a level that is tolerable (most of the time) ?if I take more meds they make me groggy so I just have to bear it when it抯 worse, but I do have a great family doctor who works with me if we need to adjust the meds and that抯 the most important thing for me.

I hope you find relief in the near future ?pain sucks!

Wishing you all the best,
Margot
