Question
I don't know what to do I had a great doc who made life bearable until she went in maternity leave. The guy thatreplaced her for the 3 months had taken away no 2 percocet a day, my dilaudid, my muscle relaxers, anti-nausea medicine, and is taking away my fentanyl patch also.I asked him  that I was supposed to do about the pain and he said suffer. I'm 33 and have had 4 low back surgeries two of them fusions. I  fell I'm the shower and landed  on my rear. L4-5 and L5-S1 are fused I have pain all down both legs, severe nerve damage, and drop foot on one side. my surgeon said I will  have to have at least one more fusion probably two since L3-L4 is already showing damage from carrying the loa. My regular doctor does not come back until Feb 18 and I'm now sure she will be allowed to out things back. I've been I'm the hospital twice because my pain was so bad my blood pressure went nuts. I'm having trouble taking my BP meds because I have so much trouble with naseau from the pain. The doctor told me I didn't need pain meds b/c the pain meds are causing the problem they call it hyperanalgesia which is crock b/c there are tests and certain things that have to happen for you to have that and I don't. The dr.won't refer me to the pain clinic I want b/c he had a deal doing with another dr. My pain is getting worse my the day. I can't are out is bed and my surgeon is booked out till the end is january. I'm at the point where i wish my blood pressure would kill me life is sure not worth living right now. We won't have insurance for another two weeks.I won't make it that long at this rate anyway.I honestly don't know what to do. My husband and I are fighting a lot
because I'm so miserable and I know it's my fault now I'm lost can anyone suggest a way out of this mess before I go crazy? I would appreciate any help more than I can say right now I just want the pain to be bearable before I give up completely. Please help is you can. If you need more info please tell be. Hi Jenn,

If I was you I would:

-call the surgeon to refill the Rx抯 until your GP returns or you find a reasonable replacement family doctor,

-report this new goof to the AMA and your MHO,

-be the squeaky wheel and sqwak until your pain it relieved adequately,
