QuestionQUESTION: About a week ago, I started to feel tingling in my left arm down to my wrist. Then a few days later, it went to my wrist. My wrist is sore, and under my thumb down to the wrist it is somewhat numb. If I stretch my arm the wrong way, its send a sharp, hot pain shooting up my arm from my wrist to elbow. My wrist is the most sore, just on the right side under the thumb if you have my hand flat on a table. Left side of wrist is not sore. Thanks

ANSWER: Dan,
Sounds like a median nerve entrapment, to me, the result of a muscular contraction near the elbow squeezing the nerve.
Do you have tight forearm muscles?
If you wish, I can make a recommendation for relief.
