I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia and was prescribed EMLA cream. It seems to help somewhat but I was wondering if combining it with other topical capzasin would allow me to selectively "burn out" the nocioceptors and without feeling the burn.

I wouldn't recommend experimenting with the burnout approach. I can sum up for you information on other approaches from both my own decades-long experience and scientific literature but I need more time. Give me several more days.
