QuestionI am experiencing pain in the sides of my hips whenever I change direction or even when I am in a car and turn fast. Whenever I get out of a car (with bucket seats) I can't just get things out of the trunk etc., but instead I feel the need to walk in a straight line for a distance. This seems ridiculous, but if I don't do so, any movement where I most lean over causes severe pain (gluteus medius ?) The pain also goes into the sole of the foot, but the leg is uneffected. Any clues?
AnswerRick,
Gluteus medius tension wouldn't affect the soles of the feet.
The location of the hip pain suggests a twisted sacrum.
