QuestionDo you know any resources to help disabled people (stroke specifically) with caring for their pets? I'm thinking of things like pee pads for when they can't take their dogs out, adaptive one-handed leashes, things like that.

AnswerThe only thing that I know, which may be of assistance, is if you receive public funding to live on and your dog is a qualified service dog as described under the law (ADA and/or state statute) they will allow you to deduct the expenses incurred by the dog as a viable expense. But there is nothing else I am aware of that offers discounts or free care/supplies.
