Questioni am disabled and receiving ssd,my doctor wants meto do pool therapy,i live miles from town,in the country,and driving is very difficult,i attemped pool therapy in town but they do it at their pace which causes me more harm than good.he wrote a prescription for pool therapy,and my quiestion is because this is medical related,would this be totatly tax deductable if i had one installed,my realastate agent said i wouldnt have to worry about it bringing up the value of my home as most swimming pools done,what do you think,thankyou jean schodde

I think you'd better consult with a good tax accountant as this is way out of my area of expertise. My only advise is to GET IT IN WRITING FROM THE I.R.S. FIRST if they say it will be, as I have known one agent to say one thing, and another to turn around and say a completely different thing.
