Question
Is near-sightedness, for which I wear corrective lenses, considered a disability on an application?

Answer
That depends..

1.  What is your visual acuity in your better eye after correction?

2.  Do you have any other restrictions in your eyesight?

3.  What sort of job are you applying for?

Generally nearsightedness is not itself considered a disability.  The definition of legal blindness will depend on how well the nearsightedness is corrected by glasses or contact lenses, by other factors such as tunnel vision, and whether your job would require you to work without such correction.. the last is the least likely.

Let me know and I can advise you further.
