I live in calfornia I recently lost my sight and I am finding braille to be difficult. I would like to try the moon alphabet. Do you have any ideas about where I might get materials?

    I do not know all that much about the moon alphabet, only that it seems like a good alternative. I did a google search, and found some sites that sell moon alphabet sheets, and so on. What is it you are looking for? Are you looking for books on how to learn it? Or are you looking for materials to write with?

There is an organization, here in Philly, called ABS (Associated Services for the Blind).  This is their website http://www.asb.org/main/index.htm

Although ASB is not located in California, it may offer some help on the materials you are looking for. It may also lead you to related organizations run out of California.
