Question
does the law state if and how many spaces there should be i am in the state of tn. my wife went to a local marina that has aresturant there where no handycap spaces provided.i asked an employee about it and was told to go else where.

Local goverments often have their own rules for things like handicapped parking. Unfortunately you seem to have been met by someone with a very uncaring attitude. Start asking locally what the area where you live considers to be acceptable. The day is long past when someone should be asked to go elsewhere just because they need a handicapped parking space!
