QuestionI need a third opinion. I've been going to a chiropractor for over a year for help with soft tissue face and neck spasms cause by tension. I like her personally and have made some progress, though it's been very slow.
Part of her treatment is cracking (I don't know the correct word) directly to the side.
When she took vacation this week she referred me to a colleague/substute. When he did the cracking he first torqued my head slightly upward, which actually seemed more effective. I assume both approaches are legitimate. Should I say anything when my regular chiropractor returns, since this torquing seemed to help more.
Thanks
AnswerAbsolutely. There are MANY different techniques for performing chiropractic adjustments. EAch chiropractor has a slightly different approach, and different techniques work better on different folks. Definitely talk to your chiropractor about it and tell her your experience.
