QuestionHi, I am 32 years old and substained injury to my neck when I was younger. When I was 25 the chiropractor that I first seen told me that I had the neck of a 50y.o. with serious injury. I have always known of my condition but, pretty much ignored it because of the depressing news. I have always just delt with the ongoing pinched nerves and learned to overcome the pain or hide it with pain killers. Just recently I have had my worst yet, 45 days of pain (the longest ever!) The chiro that I went to said, I had 15 degree curviture in my neck So My question is, is it really possible to help by constantly adjusting? And why? Thanks for your time!
Answerconstant adjusting? how can something need constant re-correction? i tend to question if correction is being made in the first place. although they are often used as if they are the same thing, there is a difference between adjustment and manipulation. i tend to suspect you may have been getting the latter. i understand you have some degenerative change in your neck. however, in order to get better, the focus needs to be on the cause, not the effects. the cause i refer to is your misaligned atlas which is producing your nerve interference pattern. to correct the cause, i recommend you seek an HIO METHOD chiropractor. i would accept no substitutes.
