Syncope and neck popping

Question
I have had several episodes of syncope in the last three weeks.  I've been to a cardiologist, but nothing seems to be wrong with my heart, but I do have some positive orthostatic BPs right after the fainting.  Also, I seem to be lightheaded most of the time.  I don't have a history of epilepsy.  However, I do "crack" my neck quite often.  I was wondering if I may have inadvertantly pinched/am still pinching some important blood vessels when I "crack" my neck.  I'm not looking for a diagnosis, just some kind of direction to head in next.

Answer
Hello Christina,

Definately stop popping your neck!! You may be moving the joints in the wrong direction!  Snycope can be related to the Vagus nerve and others in the cervical spine.  I would highly recommend a chiropractic exam on the cervical spine to determine the cause of the fainting.  When you go in, make sure to ask for "VBI" test, stands for Vertebral Basilar Insufficiency.  The cardiologist may have performed these but they are often over looked.

Let me know how everything turns out!
