I was involved in a car accident back in August. The person who hit me had auto insurance, but did not give the insurace information to the police officer to put on the accident report. My neck and lower left back hurt since.I have not seen a doctor yet. I told the insurance person about my situation and he said i couldn't go to the doctor any more because to much time past already. from -

Hello Dara,

     I think part of your message was cut off.  The insurance person you talked to, has told you a LIE!!  In every state I believe (some states have different laws pertaining to medical insurance) you have up to 1 year after the accident to be convered!!  I would go see a Doctor (You can see anyone you want by law), they will know the laws for treatment in your state.  Also I highly recommend getting an attorney, your bills will be paid much faster and they can answer any questions about the law.

Sorry to hear about the car accident, but don't be afraid to get the proper treatment you need!
