QuestionThank you Dr. Schell for your response.
When I started I thought I would market the product myself (it is a natural product called 'ortho flex' that contains msm, aloe, emu oil etc.) but with time constraints and demand I couldnt keep up. Therefore Dr. Schell, I was thinking that getting involved with a large distributor would be the best for exposure. What type of products do you distribute? I started developing the product when I was in medical school and have been primarily selling the product to Chiropractors in Alberta. Thank you for helping me, i appreciate it.

Dear Dr. Schell:
My name is Dan Gill, i am a medical doctor from Canada. I have developed a natural product for back pain and muscular ailments. I was hoping to find a distributor? Would you happen to know of distributors that work with chiropractors? The product is doing very well with local chiropractors and i have been encourage by them to take the product national, and to the US.
thank you very much
Dan Gill

What is your product, and what kind of a distributor are you looking for? I myself am a "distributor" for certain products, and that is a second business/stream of income for me. Are you looking to join a larger group and have your product in with others, or start your own and just market your product? The only other way I could see it working for you would be to market to the D.C.'s at events specifically for the doctors...homecomings at the schools, state association meetings, etc.
AnswerI actually own my own business through Quixtar, which acts as a large internet mall. Through that I have access to both partner stores with publicly recognized products, as well as exclusive brands of vitamins and supplements, as well as cosmetics and skin care, just to name a few. We are also very involved in sports nutrition, and that has been the biggest area of growth for us in the past couple of years.
I know docs who are distributors, mostly with (other) nutritional supplement companies...that usually just sell to their patients, and a few who use topicals. I really don't know how to "get in" with any of those companies, but good luck!
