for on going long term neck lower back syatic problems which would be more benificial & longer lasting treatment. chiro when it gets real bad i have to go 2-3 times a week i feel good after i leave but after a couple of days i'm back where i was would acupunture have a more permanent cure

Thanks for your question.  I hope I can provide an answer that helps you.

If you are having such problems that only receive a couple of days relief with multiple chiropractic visits, you either have a condition that is so severe that it requires further invasive treatment, or you may need a new chiropractor.  

If your chiropractor is treating you 2-3 times a week and you only get a few days of relief, he may be missing something.  You may need an MRI of the spine to fully evaluate your condition.

Acupuncture is a viable option that could help tremendously.  I think you should give it a try as it often helps to control severe pain even in the presence of severe degenerative changes and conditions.
