QuestionHello Doctor,
I am living with chronic upper back pain for over 6 months and have been to a Chiropractor with little positive result.
I have recently had an X-Ray done on my upper back revealing a twisted and misaligned T12 (lowest ribs). My pain is up around the T6 area. The ribs are out of true by about 15-20 degrees. The right side is much lower than the left and the center of T12 is twisted to the left. I believe a fall on my elbow 7 years ago may have started this. Am I a candidate for a back brace or can I excersice / stretch this back in position?
Thank you,
Mike
Answerneither will correct the problem. the origin of the problem is most likely a misaligned atlas vertebra causing cord pressure resulting in nerve interference producing weakness and elongation of various muscles resulting in various structural distortions, such as the ones you have mentioned. the solution is to correct the cause of the nerve interference which sustains this pathological chain of consequences. for this i recommend you seek an HIO METHOD chiropractor. i would accept no substitutes.
