QuestionAll of a sudden in the past few weeks, have been experiencing alot of tension to the point of pain between my shoulder blades, and now extreme discomfort in my neck. Has a massage done Saturday, was suggested that I go to a chiropractor, one hip is higher than the other..
I have an appointment Monday evening...what does the initial exam consist of? What do they do if the hip needs to be adjusted? I have also been having alot of headaches recently..could this be related?
I have recently started to exercise again...I am extremely overweight (285, on 5'7'' frame), and am on Weight Watchers...I have bad arthritis in both knees...I guess what I am asking is, will I be able to benefit from a chiropractor?
Thanks for your help!
Colleen
Answerthe exam, as well as everything else, can vary greatly. your hip does not need to be adjusted, nor can it be. it's alignment, as with all skeletal structures, is determined by the innervation to the muscles which support it. headaches are most often caused by nerve interference as well. you have thyroid problems also, do you not? another product of nerve interference, neck pain, overweight, arthritis, and other symptoms are often from this. you will benefit from genuine chiropractic care. i recommend you seek an HIO METHOD chiropractor. i would accept no substitutes.
