Help, are any of these tests used to treat the lower lumbar? or are these tests generic, and by that I mean used for cervical, thoracic, and lumbar? sotohall, valsalva, goldthwait? thank you for your time.

Thanks for the question as it is an interesting one.

These are tests utilized to provide information for the physician as a diagnostic tool to determine what is wrong with a patient.  These are used for diagnosing lower back problems.  Soto-hall and valsalva also provide information regarding the rest of the spine as well.  These are physical examination tests and are very valuable in determining a patient's problem.
