How effective are chiropractors? I had my spine aligned due to a back injury, and it seems to hurt worse? Is this normal/

Thanks for the question and I hope that I can help.  To answer your questions, chiropractors can be and are very effective in treating the conditions that they treat.  They are highly trained to treat conditions of the spine and other health problems.

As for you experiencing pain after a treatment, this is a difficult question to answer.  I would not say that it is completely normal to feel pain post-treatment; however, it does happen.  Because I do not know what is wrong with you  and what type of treatment was performed, I do not know what to say.  There are many different types of treatments depending on the problem.
