I am asking this question for my daughter, the email address is hers.Can a Chiropractor help with excessive strep throat? I heard you can drain the sinus and it will help this. My granddaughter is 7 years old and has had excessive strep throat and also scarlet fever from this.

Thanks for the question and I hope that I can help.  Strep is a bacterial infection.  It must be treated accordingly to kill the bacteria.  Most people who experience strep infections tend to experience them again and again.  I recommend antibiotics to fend off the present infection.   Then I treat strep patients nutritionally with specific immune boosting products.  NutriWest is a company I use for this.  They have products specifically designed to kill off the underlying strep bacteria to help boost immunity and eliminate the pattern of strep infections again and again.  Chiropractic can be good for the sinuses.  I prefer to use acupuncture for sinus treatment because the results are faster and normally result in a more permanent result.
